Biography
Nataliya Shelepnytska – opera singer, lyric-dramatic soprano, People's Artist of Ukraine, Ambassador for Peace, Knight of the Order of St. Mary and St. Stanislaus, winner of many awards and titles ("Woman of the Year", "Woman of the III Millennium", "Ukrainian Madonna" and others). The repertoire includes more than 1,000 works: arias from operas by Ukrainian and foreign composers, romances and folk songs, songs in the style NeoClassic.
Biography
Nataliya Shelepnytska was born in Ternopil region in the Ukrainian family. Parents fostered love for Ukraine and culture. She studied music from childhood. Nataliya started her concert activity in 1985 when she was a member of the group of the Chernivtsi Music College. In 1990 she entered the Lysenko Lviv Conservatoire. Nataliya Shelepnytska during training gave many concerts in Ukraine and abroad, namely, in Poland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovenia, Moldova, Germany.
From 1994 till 1996 she was the soloist of the folk music group Synevir attached to the Kyiv Municipal Brass Band.
In 1996 Nataliya entered the subdepartment of solo singing in the class of People’s Artist of USSR Yevhenia Miroshnychenko of The Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. In 2002 she interned with Professor Milan Conservatory, maestro Gusev (Italy). Nataliya took part at the International Festival of Young Singers in Venice.
In 2006 she finished training at the subdepartment of solo singing of the National Music Academ.
From 2002 Nataliya Shelepnytska was a senior tutor of the subdepartment of culture sciences of NUBIP and in 2008 became associate professor of the subdepartment of culture sciences.
More than 20 years Nataliya tours in Ukraine and abroad, leads an active social activities involved in charity work.
Natalia is married and has a son Andrew.
Art
The repertoire of Nataliya Shelepnytska is including by more than a thousand songs. There are opera and operetta roles, concert arias of Ukrainian and foreign composers: Lysenko, P. Maiboroda, Hulak-Artemovskyís, John. Verdi, G.. Rossini, John. Puccini, VA Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, John. Gershwin, I. Kalman, J. Strauss, Schubert, Brahms, Glinka, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and others. Another direction of singer creative is Neo-Classic or classical crossover: the famous works of Andrew Lloyd Weber, Francesco Sartori and other contemporary authors. Ukrainian folk songs are occupied a special place in the work of the singer. Nataliya Shelepnytska has many tours in Ukraine and abroad - mostly in Europe and the USA.
Nataliya takes part iat the concerts city and state level, she held many charity recitals accompanied by leading teams of Ukraine: National Orchestra of Folk Instruments under the direction of People's Artist of Ukraine, winner of the National Award Taras Shevchenko Victor Hutsalo; National Academic Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Honored Artist of Ukraine and Russia Vladimir Sirenko; State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of M. Lysenko; Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (art. Director and chief conductor - Dmitry Antoniuk).
The perls of Ukrainian classics and folk music are included to theNataliya Shelepnytska’s first album"I love you so much" in 2007. The second album "Memory" was released in 2012. It brought together the masterpieces of world classics and works in the style of NeoClassic.
Natalia Shelepnytska leads an active concert life, sings on the best stages in Ukraine and abroad.
Among the numerous solo recitals are two especially memorable to the singer - benefit performances were dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the her art career on November 1, 2012 at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine and on March, 10, 2013. at the October Palace.
Nataliya presents and promotes Ukrainian culture abroad, constantly participating in various projects, such as the International Art Prize of Nikolay Gogol in Italy, Days of Ukrainian culture in the USA and Ukrainian music in France. Nataliya represents the opera of Ukraine in the world - along with Victoria Lukyanets she performed in Rome in celebration of the 140th anniversary of the birth of the great Ukrainian singer Solomiya Krushelnytska.
Social activities
Nataliya Shelepnytska organizes and supports various social projects aimed at the development of culture, art, healthy lifestyle, solution of social problems. The singer is constantly engaged in charity - support for orphans and disabled children, contributes to the development of talented young people. Among the many charity events were held by Nataliya, it could be selected a charity solo concert in 2008 under the name "Love Without Borders", the proceeds of which went to support specialized boarding school for children with developmental disabilities in the village Babanka Cherkasy region.
As a Peace Ambassador Nataliya involved in many projects that contribute to the establishment of peace in our country and in other countries. During the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine, the singer has repeatedly participated in charity concerts in the ATO zone for Ukrainian fighters. For this Nataliуa Shelepnytska was awarded the President of Ukraine "For humanitarian participation in the antiterrorist operation" on August 24, 2018.
In 2016 Natalia Shelepnytska took part in the Beauty competition of the United Nations (United Nations Pageants), where the main requirements to representatives of their nation are volunteering, charisma, decent behavior and the presence of bright talent. In June 2016 Natalia Shelepnytska received the title of most beautiful woman in Europe (Mrs Europe) in the Beauty competition. In this capacity she participated in the finals of the competition, which took place in July in Jamaica, where she won the title of most beautiful woman of the planet Earth (Mrs United Nations Earth).
The contest of the United Nations brings together people from different corners of the earth in the service of the initiatives supporting peace, goodness and prosperity on our planet. Volunteer projects arising during the competition between countries allow crowned winners become goodwill ambassadors, as examples of dignity and tolerance.
